VC2 Laser Scanning

All 12 stories of this existing building were scanned by Point Capture and the point clouds were used to develop a core and shell BIM model. The scanning was completed in multiple mobilizations after the demolition and asbestos remediation was completed on each floor. The survey control network was established by the project surveyor and was picked up during the scan. This improved accuracy of the scan data and carried the project coordinates from the building into the BIM model.
